Hello everyone,
I wanted to make you all aware of a Non-Profit, Non-denominational program that I have been involved with the past several months. It is called Georgetown Job Cafe and it is a program to put people back to work in Williamson/Travis Counties and the surrounding areas. We meet every Wed. morning at 9:00 am at the Georgetown Public Library. If you are looking for a job and need help with resumes, interviewing tip, or just support of other people in your situation please attend. Also, if you know of employers that are hiring or may in the near future, please tell them about it. We just started organizing the first part of February. We are building a database of potential employers and job seekers. We want to help put Central Texas back to work, and it can only happen thru networking.
